At Barefoot We Are the Experts at Solving Your Unique Pain Puzzle.
Whether you want to compete in high-performance sports or simply enjoy everyday activities pain-free, we are committed to helping you achieve a full recovery and get you back to a pain-free active lifestyle as quickly as possible.
At Barefoot we are the experts at solving your unique pain puzzle. We use science-based treatments underpinned by expert clinical reasoning gained from years of experience and further learning to provide an accurate diagnosis and find a solution to a variety of conditions. From long-standing pain, sports injuries to all manner of aches and niggles.
Clients trust us to deliver a thorough detailed assessment and an accurate diagnosis with a personalised treatment and management plan. This means our appointments are typically longer than most clinics as we would rather see you for a longer session than more frequent, albeit shorter sessions. The extra time allows for a more thorough treatment session and ensures that you are on the right track to recovery.
Why Choose Us?
We Work With You to Find All the Contributors to Your Pain and Injury.
Our Initial Physiotherapy consultation lasts up to 60 minutes to make sure you receive a thorough examination and that we can start your treatment straight away so we can start you on your journey to getting better. You will be taken through our thorough assessment process, where we will find the root cause of your pain. Your physiotherapist, in partnership with yourself, will form a plan for how we aim to get you pain free and back to full function as soon as possible.
Your Physiotherapist will have a treatment plan in action following on from your Initial Assessment, which will be based on the diagnosis from your initial appointment. Your follow up appointment will allow you to feedback to your physiotherapist about any changes in your symptoms since your last appointment and give you the opportunity to ask any further questions that you have, while reflecting on the impact and challenges of your rehabilitation so far. The Physiotherapist will ask you a number of questions regarding your progress and depending on your recovery the physiotherapist may change your treatment, or home exercise plan to maximise your recovery. You will also have access to an online exercise programme which will allow you to keep on track of your progress.
