What is Stretch + Relax?

Stretch + Relax is a one-on-one, hands-on stretching session designed to help you feel looser, lighter, and more mobile — without you having to do any of the work.
You’ll lie back and fully relax while our therapist gently guides your body through a smooth, controlled range of motion. We adapt every stretch to your comfort level, working through areas that often hold tension — like hips, back, shoulders, neck and legs.

Because you’re not doing the stretching yourself, your body can relax more deeply, allowing us to target muscles, fascia, and joints more effectively. The result? A full-body reset that leaves you feeling calm, open, and more at ease in your body.

In addition to hands-on stretching, we may also incorporate light tools — like resistance bands, small dumbbells, or mobility sticks — to gently guide movement and improve your range of motion. We create a unique blend of passive stretching (where you fully relax) and active stretching (where we help you engage lightly), helping your body feel even freer, stronger, and better supported.

We want you to feel confident and informed before you start. Here are answers to some of the most common questions we’re asked about Stretch+Relax.

We start with a quick check-in to see how your body’s feeling and where you might need the most attention. From there, you’ll lie back while we guide you through a flowing series of assisted stretches — all adapted to your needs and preferences.

Nothing is held or forced. We’re aiming for “ahhh,” not “ouch.”

At the end, we’ll show you a couple of easy take-home movements that support what we’ve done in the session. These can build into your own short, sustainable routine over time — helping you stay looser and more mobile between sessions.

For your session, please wear comfortable clothing you can move easily in. We’ll be working in both the studio and treatment room to guide your stretches. If you’re unsure about anything before booking, feel free to contact us — we’re happy to help.

That depends on your goals and your schedule. Some people come once a week to stay on top of tightness. Others book in monthly as a reset. If you’ve got a specific issue or goal in mind, we might suggest coming a bit more often to start — then taper as your body improves.
