Kate is a specialist pelvic health physiotherapist with extensive experience supporting women with a wide range of pelvic health conditions.
Her interest in pelvic health began during a university placement, where she discovered a passion for helping women with these often life-impacting concerns.
After completing her core rotations in the NHS, Kate became a specialist musculoskeletal (MSK) physiotherapist in 2016. In 2022 she joined the pelvic health physiotherapy team, where she has continued to develop her specialist expertise.
Kate treats a variety of pelvic health conditions including stress urinary incontinence, overactive bladder, pelvic organ prolapse, bowel dysfunction (such as constipation, urgency and incomplete emptying), pelvic pain and pain during intercourse.
She also treats pregnancy-related conditions such as pelvic girdle pain and supports women during post-natal recovery.
Kate is committed to evidence-based practice and regularly attends professional courses and reviews current research. In October 2025 she attended the POGP conference in Edinburgh to learn about the latest developments in pelvic health physiotherapy. Kate is also a South-West regional representative for the Pelvic Obstetric and Gynaecological Physiotherapy (POGP), supporting professional collaboration and development within the field.
Outside of work, Kate enjoys spending time with her husband and two children and keeping active through gym classes and exercise.
